It’s just society sees it differently! ANY such cases should be investigated and culprits should be punished accordingly! But even in Bilkis, people were celebrating (even if you have connections with a party)!!
Bharat ki champions blamed that cheif of Indian wrestling body ((don’t want to name him) and they were defamed and made fun of!! Just because politicians were connected with that guy! It’s just people handle such crimes differently and so such crimes keep occurring!! Unfortunately Law enforcement is not that strong in any state!! Hope for better future m! Pray for the best!!

First mistake was done by delhi police by not even searching crime area properly as hemraj's dead body was found 1-2 days later....they dint kept people away from the area and let people come inside..... probably they dint know that it would be so confusing crime .... When cbi came into picture...it was too late to investigate such as most fresh evidence was gone by then....Cbi tried out each n every angle such as extra marital affair, profesional enmity.... one thing that u forgot to point out was her mobile phone was traced far away or location  was traced far away....for talwars, I think something should've come up during narcotics test...it's very hard to lie during narcotics test....sometimes I feel sad for the girl......no one is ever going to know what happened that night ....btw written nicely

I was a kid when this happened and the school she went to was like 5 mins from my place. The whole thing was botched from the start. The crime scene, taking of the samples or even witness testimony. The theories all revolved around one thing and that was that two people were dead and two were alive. The case would not have been unsolved had proper investigation was done. The most disgusting theory is of her having an affair with hemraj, like when it was even said the backlash was immense. Everyone in noida was up in arms bout that. If you ask people of noida about this case they without hesitation blame the parents but no one knows for sure

I'll encourage you to watch the movie Talwar which captures both the theories very well. Both the scenarios are very much plausible. Either the parents killed her and Hemraj or it was Hemraj's friends.

You are more inclined to conclude the Talwars' as guilty primarily because of the forensic analysis results of room cleaning but please note that a lot of evidence was botched up later on. They also found a khukri at one of Hemraj's friend's place who was suspected and few clothes with a blood sample match which will make you swing your opinion the other way. 

This case has been in court for too long. If anything could've been concluded it would have been by now. Delhi police botched up. They had access to fingerprints and other evidence but meh.

This case is still a mystery. My house is in the same locality and just 2 mins away from her house (sector 25, Noida) and I knew her because she was friends with some of my friends (just an acquaintance).

I guess it was 2008, and I came home from school and saw a lot of media vans near my house. My mother told me that a girl has been murdered by her servant and it was so shocking. Months/years went by and there were so many twists and turns. Honestly, no body really knows what happened but whenever we discussed the case amongst our friends, all of us were sure that the parents are  definitely hiding something or were involved in it.

You are completely missing out on Hemraj, why did he told a social worker that his life and his known lives are in danger and who called hemraj at that night at 8:30 PM from PCO which was never traced back ? Hemraj didn’t send any money since last 1 year to his family. 

Someone unknown came to talk to Hemraj could be loan recoverer, who then got into argument with Hemraj and they both got up to the terrace to talk but it turned to be ugly and he ended up killing Hemraj, he came down to kill Aarushi for being prime witness of the presence of this unknown person. The thing which supports This is the pco call radius which Hemraj received was within 1KM and in morning when Ms.Talwar called Hemraj it was also in the same 1KM radius it means the killer had the phone and was sitting at his location, 

The reason it could be other servant is because when sooner or later Hemraj body would be recovered Aarushi would simply tell who came to meet Hemraj that night, so it became necessary for him to kill her, if it was someone unknown there could have been a chance he would have left her alone, 

Why it’s not parents because in the home the presence of unknown fingerprints were proved 
Also inspite of two narco and polygraph test there was nothing against Talwars nothing if the did cover up or killed there would be something, something at least.

I swear, till this post, I was more inclined towards other servants being the killer but after reading your summary, I am now totally on the side that the Takwars are the killer. I also agree with you that the murder was committed in a moment of rage when they saw Aarushi and Hemraj in inappropriate position

It's fucking alarming how Rajesh Talwar was more concerned about cleaning up the house ASAP because people will visit, if he wouldn't have done this, this case would've been solved, also how he didn't want people to know that his daughter was probably sexually assaulted or active. 

The incompetency of police, who didn't even bother to check the crime scene and immediately believed that Hemraj had committed the crime. Even after finding the body of Hemraj of terrace, they didn't notice that handprint near door which could've been a huge evidence but it had gotten too late to investigate it properly.

This case and Burari case I vividly remember... And the media trials of them constantly talking about it in school, tution and with friends everywhere for months., Everyone was talking like crime detectives and forensic experts including media reporters... INSANE times

It’s just sad and alarming how many murders, rape and other crimes people get away with in India. Really sad, no justice for the victims. Even when cases are solved, conviction rates in courts are poor.

I’m not very familiar with the case facts, but was there any postmortem report on Hemraj if he was sexually active? That would be a big clue for the theories proposed. Because if he was not, then maybe he died because he saw something he shouldn’t have

This case was botched from the start, people swarming the crime scene. On top of that unidentified finger print on the bottle and the bloody hand print on the wall.

As much as I’ve heard, Aarushi’s phone was later found!! Also police constantly theorised that  Hemraj’s friends had lured him to the rooftop and then killed him, which could not be possible because of the evidence pointing towards a body being dragged up the stairs. I think the Talwars are actually victims being framed by the police due to their incompetence and distaste towards them being a liberal family (they criticised Aarushi being allowed sleepovers and talking to boys).
